August 15, 2024 at 3:13 amWe enjoyed the property for its space, privacy, peacefulness, and the surrounding raw nature. The sunsets were beautiful, and the fresh air was refreshing. The drive to the property is scenic. Although the weather was hot, the air conditioning worked excellently throughout the property. I recommend setting your GPS before leaving, as there is no signal once you leave the property. Communication was excellent, the owner was patient and kind, offered extensive and great information on local attractions aside from the wineries and check-in and check-out were easy and smooth. Thank you for the beautiful stay.

We couldn’t wait to get back each day after our conference. Well behaved dogs are welcome, which is why I chose it. My little dogs had the best time! They’d race out every morning and investigate the landscape for hours. It’s all fenced. My friend and I both lived our bedrooms—the master is beautiful and my smaller bedroom was comfy. Good beds. July 11, 2024 at 3:16 amCasa de la Luz was a peaceful and serene retreat. The ranch style home is nicely laid out and updated. Windows abound with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The ginormous wood deck is majestic at any time of day or night. Don’t miss the dawn from that deck when morning is greeted by a distant rooster’s crow and distant horses neighs. Make sure to come through the 15 and the Temecula exit which is an easy 15 minute ride up the countryside roads. We were coming from Carlsbad and both Apple and Google Maps sent us through mountain roads that were eventually gated shut just a few miles from the home. The clothes washer is awesome but the dryer is tiny but does the job for a small light load. The foosball table converts to a “pool table” and was lots of fun. The WiFi worked great and everything in the house worked, including the central AC. If you’re looking to get away from it all and take deep breaths looking out into a vast landscape, this is the place.
